Laudato Si celebration by Ycs

YCS Derebail unit, celebrated 'Laudato Si'  on 20 August, 2023. Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis and  Rev.Fr. Kevin D'Souza were the Chief Guests for the day.The programme commenced with a prayer song sung by the YCS members. The guests  were welcomed florally by Ms Sancia DCunha,YCS President and by Mr Aaron Anthony ,YCS Secretary. To mark the occasion a sapling was planted to by by the Chief Guests and  the YCS members . Fr.Joseph Martis in his speech spoke on the meaning and importance of the encyclical given by Pope Francis 'Laudato Si' and our responsibility towards saving the nature. YCS animators Mr Gladson Monteiro,Mrs Jonita Monteiro and Ms Delina Dsouza were also present. Ms Deona Dsouza compered the programme. The programme concluded with the YCS claps.
