Yuva Spandan Derebail bids farewell to Rev Fr Gratian Alvares

On 13th of September, 2020 at 5:00 PM, Yuva Spandan Derebail had organised a surprise farewell program to Rev. Fr Gratian Alvares.

Rev Fr Austin Peter Peres - Parish Priest and Director of YSD/ICYM Derebail Unit, Rev Fr Gratian Alvares - Residential Priest and Associate Director of YSD/ICYM Derebail Unit, Rev Fr Gerald Pinto - Residential Priest, Mrs Sheela D'Souza - Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Gaulbert Pais - Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, YSD animators and members of Yuva Spandan Derebail were present for the farewell program.

Mrs Lizzie Fernandes - Animator of Yuva Spandan Derebail welcomed the gathering. Later a few YSD members including Mr Jeethan - Animator of Yuva Spandan Derebail shared a few words on Rev Fr Gratian Alvares and his contribution towards YSD association. Rev Fr Gratian Alvares later shared his 4 years of experience with YSD and thanked everyone for arranging the farewell program. Rev Fr Austin and Rev Fr Gerald spoke a few words about Fr Gratian and the experience they had with him. 

As a token of love Yuva Spandan Derebail gifted Rev Fr Gratian Alvarez a photo frame collaged with all the pictures and selfies YSD had taken with Rev Fr Gratian Alvares. Along with frame a basket of flowers too was given by YSD. 

Ms Ivy Melisha Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks and compered the farewell program. The entire program concluded with a group photo, selfie and ICYM anthem.
