Catechism Classes Commencement Back

After a short vacation of 2 months the little children of Most Holy Redeemer Church were back for their Sunday Catechism classes. The 9.15 AM Sunday mass on the 14^th of June, 2015 was celebrated to honour and thank God for giving the parish children yet another year to learn more about Jesus and get close to Him. The Assistant Parish Priest rendered a warm welcome to the “little ones” (as Jesus called them) and wished them another fruitful year. After the entrance hymn, the Catechism classes for the year 2015-16 were formally inaugurated by the lighting of the lamp. The Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Joseph Lobo, the Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil Lobo, The Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council Mr Anil Patrao, the Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Mr Edward Coelho lit the lamp. Besides, two representatives each from the Catechism teachers, the little children and parents also lit the lamp.

The 9.15 AM mass was jointly celebrated by Fr. Anil Lobo and by Fr. Walter Pinto. The entire liturgy was carried out by the teachers who taught Catechism on Sundays at Most Holy Redeemer Church. The Children’s Choir added to the solemnity of the mass.
