Celebration of Children's and Teachers' Day at Most Holy Redeemer Church

The Diocese of Mangalore celebrated the feast of St. Charles Borromeo, the Patron of Catechism teachers on 7th November 2021. Owing to the celebration of the Parish feast on the same day, Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail, celebrated both Catechism Teachers' Day and Children's Day on 14th November 2021.

On the occasion of Children's day, the members of Youth CLC conducted quiz for all the children at 8.30 AM.

After the quiz, the Children participated in the Holy Mass that was celebrated at 9 AM. Rev. Fr. Austin Peres along with Fr. Walter Pinto offered the mass.

The Parish Priest in his homily captured the attention of the children by asking them a series of questions and interacted with them over the liturgical theme of the day.

The entire liturgy was conducted by the Catechism teachers. The choir was led by the children's choir members.

The winners of the quiz were rewarded with prizes. The Youth CLC members thanked the children for their involvement and participation in the quiz.

The Parish Priest, Rev.Fr.Austin Peres then honoured the Catechism teachers with a rose. A group photo was then clicked. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Rev.Fr.
