Festivities Galore as Derebail Parishioners Celebrate their Annual Parish Feast

The Annual Feast of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail was celebrated on 06 November, 2022. The Eucharistic Celebration commenced at 9 AM.
Rev.Fr. Maxim Norohna, celebrated the Solemn Festal Mass along with Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis, Parish Priest of Derebail Church; Rev.Fr. Gerald Pinto; Rev.Fr. Anil Fernandes, Director Canara Communication Centre Mangalore Diocese, Rev.Fr. Jason,  Rev.Fr. Sunil Norohna, and Rev.Fr. Santhosh Rodriguez.
The Homily highlighted that we need to live like a community, witness faith and spread love. We should help those in need and in difficulties.
The Youth Choir added solemnity to the Eucharistic Celebration with their melodious voice.
After the Eucharistic Celebration, the Parish Priest, Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis expressed his gratitude to all the priests who had graced the occasion and concelebrated the mass. He thanked all the parishioners and members of various associations of the parish for their active participation in all the activities of the parish throughout the year. He gave festal greetings to the entire parish community and extended their warm wishes to all the parishioners.
Rev. Fr. Maxim Norohna distributed the “Candle of Honour” to all the parishioners who had contributed towards the expenses of the feast and given Muddhoms.

To add to the celebratory note various stalls were set up by the members of Sports Club, CLC, YSD and YCS. The church premise was vibrant throughout the day with the parishioners involvement in the games.
