Kursak Naman – A Spiritual Programme at Kadjahithulu Ward

The members of the Kadjahithulu Ward came together for Kursak Naman, a spiritual programme that included the Way of the Cross and recollection of the Passion of Christ on 22nd March 2026 at 4:30 PM. The prayer session was held at the residence of Mrs. Leena Lasrado.

Gurkar Mr. Rakesh Dcunha welcomed the ward members and briefly spoke about the significance of the day. Sr. Julian Tellis was also present for the programme.

Mrs. Jecintha Dsouza led the Way of the Cross. The Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross were led by Mrs. Clara Nazareth, Mrs. Lily Lasrado, Mrs. Benedicta Alvares, Mrs. Lavina Dsouza, Mrs. Reshma Lasrado, and Mrs. Pramila Dsouza.

Mr. Rakesh Dcunha, Mr. Jeevan Mendonsa, and Mr. Sudesh Lasrado enabled the recollection of the Lord’s Passion through their readings from the Gospel of John.

Mrs. Clara Nazareth led the hymns for the prayer session. Mrs. Reshma Lasrado delivered the vote of thanks.

The programme concluded with refreshments. A total of about 50 ward members were present for the gathering.
