Thanksgiving Programme - Konchady Lower Ward Back

A Thanksgiving programme was organized on February 19 2017 at Mr. Anil Patrao's residence. The eve began with a photo session of all Ward Members, present in the church premises around 5 p.m. Followed by ward meeting, continued until 6.30 p.m. The cultural programme begun by welcoming each head of the family present with a rose by Patrao family. Guest comprised of our parish priest, residential priest, vice president, secretary of our parish council, 4 religious (nuns) and secretary of central council committee. Birthday wishes were given to the members who celebrated in the month of February. A written Quiz in general was conducted by Mr. Anil Patrao. Comedy skit was presented by Ashish and Group. Spot game was conducted by Mr. Sheldon Crasta. A hymn was sung by patrao family named 'Abide with me' in 4 different voices. Message was given by the parish priest as to the importance of Ward meeting and get together. Programme was compered by Mrs. Leera Mascarenhas. Later prizes were distributed to the winners by the parish priest. Finally verse (vovya/verse) were sung by Mrs. Sheela D’Souza and group. Lastly Vote of Thanks was given by our Gurkar Mr. Alwyn Carvalho. Programme ended with dinner served around 8.15 p.m. after having grace before meals.
