The angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Rise take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt and stay there until I tell you. "
On the Feast of the Holy Innocents, the Eucharistic celebration at Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail began at 7.30a.m. This mass was a special mass for the little children of the parish. The Parish Priest Fr. Joseph Martis celebrated the mass and prayed for all the children . In his reflection Fr. Joseph Martis urged the parents to take the example of Joseph and Mary and teach their children at a very young age to love Jesus.
Later, Fr. Joseph and Fr. Kevin blessed the children and laid their hands on each child who was present.
After the final hymn sweets were distributed to the children.
